PMI launches benefits package for members
The Pensions Management Institute is launching a package of benefits for members.
The professional body said its PMI Extra service would be available via the member-only section of the PMI website from March 31.
The service would give members discounts on a range of everyday products and services from insurance and health clubs, to weekend breaks and cut-price CDs. It will be run in conjunction with affinity services provider Parliament Hill.
Announcing the launch, PMI chief executive Vince Linnane said: "This is a very significant development for the PMI. PMI Extra offers real added benefits to members and the range of discounts from its deals means that, in some cases, a member's annual fee is effectively paid for by their savings elsewhere.
"PMI Extra follows on from new services like PMI TV and PMI Studentweb that genuinely benefit our members from both a knowledge and now a savings point of view."
Parliament Hill managing director Andrew Holden added: "We are delighted to be working with the PMI and look forward to saving time and money for the membership: we very much hope that there will be something for everyone."
