P&O Ferries appoints eShare as governance software provider

The ferries firm said it would be using eShare’s EKnowledge and EMeetings modules to provide their trustees with the tools to manage their board meetings and trustee knowledge and understanding requirements.

P&O Ferries scheme secretary Chris Bennell added: "The P&O Ferries trustee board has appointed a very competent and experienced provider in eShare who will help the trustees manage the scheme efficiently whilst demonstrating quality governance."

eShare managing director Alister Esam added: "We are looking forward to providing the trustees with the tools they need to make the highest standards simple to achieve and demonstrate."

This comes just weeks after Muse Advisory was appointed as secretary of the P&O Ferries trustee board following its work to implement a new defined benefit scheme for the company earlier this year (PP Online, May 7).
