NORTHAMPTONSHIRE POLICE has appointed Xafinity Paymaster as its pensions administration provider.
The 2000-strong police force said Xafinity was chosen because of its competitive pricing, innovative service and extensive experience of administering police pensions.
Northamptonshire Police chief accountant Gary Jones said: "Xafinity Paymaster was selected for several reasons including their excellent reputation within the wider pension’s field but more importantly the very deserved excellent reference from the police schemes they currently administer.
"During the implementation, the team worked professionally and demonstrated their desire to make the process as painless as possible for us. The administration team were involved from the outset and a good solid rapport was established in preparation to go live."
The contract will go live in October 2008.
