UEBS and Aberdeen team up to launch education initiative
THE University of Edinburgh Business School has teamed up with Aberdeen Asset Management to launch a series of educational seminars driven by the pensions industry.
The initiative – Pensions Intelligence – will deliver a series of free half-day seminars, increasing pension funds’ understanding across a range of legal and financial issues.
As part of this new initiative, Aberdeen has teamed up with leading industry figures to form an impartial advisory panel, which will examine topics that top the agenda for UK pension schemes.
The advisory panel includes: AllenbridgeEPIC Investment Advisors senior adviser Peter Scales; The Pensions Regulator defined benefit and research actuary Fraser Low; and University of Edinburgh Business School senior lecturer Alistair Byrne.
The first Pensions Intelligence seminar will be held in London on September 9.
