THE Milk Pension Fund has appointed Aon Consulting to provide the scheme with administration services.
The multi-employer defined benefit scheme – which is still open to new members – was established in 1954 and is sponsored by employers in the UK dairy industry. It has more than 5500 members.
Aon already provides actuarial, investment and pension consultancy services to the scheme.
Milk Pension Fund secretary to the trustee Richard Thornton said: "We were particularly impressed with Aon’s innovative, member-focused approach to performance management which we’re confident will not only enhance the member experience but also offers clear benefits for the trustees."
The mandate is the administration team’s first since re-launching its services in June.
