Capita extends admin contract with Experian

Capita Hartshead has been re-appointed as Experian’s administration provider for the next five years.

Experian operates both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes with around 12,000 members.

The administration of the schemes will continue to be delivered from Capita Harthead’s head office in Sheffield.

Experian head of pensions Rhoslyn Roberts said: "Capita Hartshead has proved that it can administer our schemes to a high standard and at a competitive price."

Capita Hartshead managing director Mike Addenbrooke added: "It is fantastic news that Experian has chosen Capita Hartshead for a further five year contract. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication that the administration team have shown over the past four years, and I am delighted that their efforts have been so well rewarded."

Capita Hartshead was initially appointed by GUS to administer the company’s two pension schemes for a three year contract – with the option to extend that for a further 12 months.

Experian demerged from GUS in October 2006 but Capita Hartshead was retained as provider.
