THE 2.4bn Cheshire Pension Fund has hired three fund managers to run an active bond mandate worth around £320m.
It said it had hired Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Henderson Global Investors to run mandates worth £127.5m each and Baillie Gifford to run a £64m brief.
The scheme said the mandates would have an outperformance target of between one and two percentage points above the appropriate benchmarks.
