DC scheme administration debate
The latest Professional Pensions Conjecture debate looked at the key issues surrounding scheme administration.
The debate was chaired by Incisive Media investment division deputy managing director Lawrence Gosling and included Buck Consultants head of administration technology Andrew Collins, Aon Consulting head of client relationship management for pensions administration Ian Bloxham, MNPA head of sales and marketing David Carstairs.
Conjecture looked at key areas that need to be addressed in order to increase member satisfaction; what are the problems specific to the administration of defined contribution schemes; and whether schemes should implement performance bonuses for third-party administrators that improve their service above a certain threshold.
