I have arranged working arrangements with my employer in readiness for working beyond my retirement on 31/01/2010.
I have been told that I will no longer be entitled to my Death in Service benefit, on the grounds of the expense of it.
Can this be classed as Age Discrimination? if so what should I do next?
Generally speaking fiduciary management involves outsourcing of the day-to-day management of a pension scheme to a lead manager with a high degree of transparency so that the manager’s decisions can be easily scrutinised and overall control is retained by the trustee board.
