eShare has joined forces with consultant LCP to help deliver and implement its pensions governance software.
The IT specialist said LCP had been named as its first certified implementation partner in recognition of the firm's ability to support pension schemes that use its software.
It said the status had been achieved through training provided by eShare and hands-on experience of helping pension schemes to implement the software.
The company said schemes that use its software could now be certain they could rely on LCP to help implement and maintain their eShare deployments
LCP partner Aiden Coloe explained: "We now have many schemes for whom we manage their eShare deployments. This recognition means that other schemes can now benefit from our investment in training."
eShare chief executive Alister Esam (pictured) said the partner programme allowed schemes to select advisers they knew had the relevant skills and experience to help them raise standards of governance with it's software, and allowed the firm to concentrate on its core business.
He explained: "eShare focuses purely on delivering excellent governance software. We don't provide pensions consulting services and we rely on our partners to advise our clients on governance issues. We are delighted that all of our clients can now benefit from the support of LCP as well as our other partners."
The company has also released the final results of its software governance survey - first revealed by PP (PP Online, 30 June) - which shows a reluctance among schemes to use governance software to manage risk or decision making, despite awareness of its potential.
