UK - Morley Pooled Pensions, the pooled pensions business of Morley Fund Management, has launched four new aggressive funds:
- The specialist global equity fund has a target of 3% outperformance of benchmark. The fund will be managed by newly appointed fund manager Michael Jennings.
- The specialist managed fund has a target of 2.5% outperformance of CAPS balanced median. The fund uses the expertise of Morley's eight strong strategy and economics team to add value via asset allocation.
- The specialist UK equity fund has a target of 3% outperformance of FTSE All Share Index. The fund is managed by Iain Brown, senior fund manager within Morley's pan-European pension fund team.
- The UK core plus bond fund has a target of 1% outperformance of benchmark.
These funds add to the 25 pooled funds already on offer from Morley which include three SRI funds; managed, UK equity and global equity.
Philip Beale, head of pooled funds at Morley, said: “We have had a successful first half of the year in pooled funds taking more than £100m in new business.
“Defined contribution is a growing part of the UK pension fund market and as defined benefit schemes continue to mature we have responded to these trends by developing a range of funds which offer modest, moderate and aggressive risk profiles to meet the needs of all our investors.
