UK - The Blackpool Transport Services Retirement Benefits Scheme has chosen Jardine Lloyd Thompson to provide actuarial, consulting, investment advice and administration services.
JLT will also provide similar services to the scheme’s sponsoring company, Blackpool Transport Services.
BTSRB financial director and trustee Allan Leach said: “The trustees and Blackpool Transport were aware we required a more focused service to address the particular issues affecting our scheme and its members following a review of service providers.
“We were particularly impressed with JLT’s development of a web/internet-enabled administration system as well as an integrated and automated desktop treasury control process.”
The People's Pension, Atlas Master Trust and The Cheviot Trust have been granted authorisation from The Pensions Regulator (TPR), taking the total number of authorised master trusts to 18.
