UK - Software company Aqera has appointed Haydn Lewis as its new sales director.
Lewis, who brings more than 22 years of international sales experience to Aqera, will focus on establishing the company in the life and pensions sector. He reports directly to managing director Ed Holt.
As sales and marketing director for Spherion Technology he secured more than £6m worth of new business in the financial services sector. At the Nasdaq-listed Liquent Software he grew license revenue from pharmaceutical companies from zero to $6.5m in a year. He also worked for Invensys Inc. (previously Baan Midmarket Systems) as UK sales director, helping grow the start-up operation from a green field position to more than $9m in revenues in its first fiscal year.
