UK - Friends Ivory & Sime (FIS) has added Tim Sharman and Robin Wrench to its US equities team.
Sharman, formerly of Royal & Sun Alliance (R&SA) Investment Management, joins FIS as director, North American Equities. In his new role, Sharman will assist the team’s portfolio construction efforts, in addition to being directly responsible for the management of individual portfolios. He joins the firm after 18 years at R&SA.
Wrench joins the firm as US equities fund manager, and will be responsible for the team’s ethical funds. He joins FIS after a three year spell at Deutsche Asset Management, where he was a US equities analyst.
The new arrivals will report to Peter Kaye, head of FIS’ US desk.
