UK - Winterthur Life has appointed Chris Schnor as chairman of Winterthur UK financial services.
Schnor joined Winterthur Group in 1990 as technical director in the European division, Switzerland.
In July 2000 he moved from Winterthur International to Winterthur Life & Pensions as executive board member and regional chief executive of the Market Unit Other Europe and Asia.
Schnor now sits on the Winterthur Group board, reporting directly to the CEO.
Winterthur has also appointed Paul Jameson to its Manchester business development team.
He will be responsible for building relationships with IFAs in the Manchester area.
Winterthur Life regional sales manager (North) Dave Stratton said: “Paul has a wealth of experience which will strengthen our 10-strong business development team.”
