UK - The £400m London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is tendering for £15m private equity fund of fund managers.
Bfinance, which is acting as advisor for the review process, said that the fund was looking to hire at least two fund of fund managers.
Thomas Ross, managing director of Bfinance said that the selection process would be completed by the end of the third quarter.
He added that it was likely that the fund would increase its investments in the asset class: “Given the profile of the asset class, to achieve and maintain a certain level of return, it is important to continue making commitments towards the investments.”
The mandate would be awarded to the “most economically advantageous tender in terms of quality, technical merit and price”.
Deadline for tender is July 5, 2004.
