UK - Andy Staddon, previously of Hewitt Associates, has joined Mercer Human Resource Consulting as a principal within its retirement business in Manchester.
In this new post, Staddon will manage client relationships and provide actuarial advice to pension scheme trustees and employers, helping them to control pension costs and deliver retirement benefits to members.
Mercer’s new recruit has over 20 years' experience of retirement consulting and held a number of leadership positions while with Hewitt in Leeds.
Jim Finlay, head of Mercer's retirement business in the North West, said: Andy is a great addition to our senior team. He brings valuable experience, particularly of the pension aspects of mergers and acquisitions and of dealing with the Regulator and Pension Protection Fund.
