SWITZERLAND - René Schneider is to take up the position of chief investment officer for equities at Julius Baer Asset Management starting November 1.
Schneider brings with him 30 years of experience at Credit Suisse, where he performed a range of functions at offices in Tokyo, London and Zurich. Most recently he was head of investment management, equity, for CSAM in Zurich.
Schneider will collaborate with the CIO for fixed income, Edward Dove, on managing the performance of Julius Baer’s institutional mandates and fund products.
The two CIOs will be supported by a team of specialists under the leadership of Hans Speich.
