EUROPE - Citigroup Asset Management has appointed Tim Sutton as business development manager for the UK and Ireland.
Sutton joins from F&C Asset Management, where he was a director of institutional business, focussing on multi-manager funds, UK pension funds and consultant relations.
In his new role, he will report to Frank Doyle, regional sales director for UK and Ireland.
In addition, the firm has appointed Sue-Wei Wong as marketing manager for the UK and Ireland, reporting to Annette Mcarthur Muscroft, director of EMEA marketing. Wong joins from Northern Trust, where she was institutional marketing manager.
“This is a clear sign of our continued commitment to the UK and Ireland where we have seen solid business growth, particularly where local government clients are concerned, over the past 12 months,” said Doyle.
PwC, KPMG, EY and Deloitte must break up their consultancy and audit businesses into distinct firms to provide greater focus on the "most challenging and objective audits", the competition watchdog has said.
