UK/JAPAN - Schroders has strengthened its global credit team with three new appointments, bringing the total number to 15.
Richard Brown has been appointed head of pan-European credit research. He joined Schroders in 2000, after 10 years with NatWest Markets and will now manage a team of six credit analysts based in London.
Brown reports to Jack Davis, global head of credit, who is based in New York. Davis said that the firm is also looking to hire additional credit analysts to its New York office.
Satish Pulle joins Schroders, London, as a credit analyst focusing on the structured finance sector. Previously an associate director at Barclays Capital, he has covered this sector since 1996.
Tetsushi Nagato has been hired as the third member of the Tokyo team. He transfers from the Schroder Japanese equity team, which he joined in 1998.
