SWITZERLAND - The board of directors at UBS has announced the resignation of Eric Honegger, with immediate effect.
Honegger had served as a director since he was first elected at UBS’ AGM in 1999.
The board hopes to announce his replacement in April next year.
Before joining UBS, Honegger served as a member of the Zurich canton from 1987 to 1999 and as chairman of SAiR Group, holding company of SwissAir, from 2000 to the beginning of 2001.
