US - Chicago-headquartered Northern Trust Corporation has made a management change resulting from a senior retirement.
William Setterstrom plans to retire that as head of the firm’s human resources department, effective at year-end.
Setterstrom joined Northern Trust in 1984 and has headed human resources since that time. From 1968 to 1984, he was associated with JP Morgan & Company in the human resources area.
He is replaced by Timothy Moen who joins as executive vice president and head of human resources. He and Setterstrom will work together during the transition period.
Since 1998 Moen served as executive vice president and head of human resources for Bank One Corporation. Prior to that, he was executive vice president and head of human resources for First Chicago NBD Corporation from 1995 to 1998.
Commenting on Setterstrom’s decision William Osborn, Northern Trust chairman and chief executive officer said: “We are grateful to Bill Setterstrom for his 17 years of dedicated service to Northern Trust.”
