UK - ABN AMRO Asset Management has appointed Fidelity's Anne-Sophie Girault as a global product specialist on the back of increased demand for its absolute return products.
Assets under management for the firm's Absolute Return Capability, Absolute Return Advantage Fund and Absolute Return mandates had exceeded €2.5bn, and Paul Abberley, CIO for fixed income at ABN AMRO Asset Management, said:
“The expansion of our team reflects the success of our absolute return capability and our experience in managing these strategies for our clients.“
In her new role, Girault will focus on delivering the absolute return team’s capabilities to promising market opportunities. She joined ABN AMRO from Fidelity International, where she worked as an investment director.
The Pensions Regulator (TPR) has granted 11 master trusts extensions to apply for authorisation, as it confirms it has received 22 applications ahead of the 31 March deadline.
