Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM), has launched a passive investment management product, the Growth Optimal World Equity Portfolio (GrOWE).
GrOWE was designed by the Deutsche Asset Management Centre, headed by Dr Kenneth Yip, managing director and global head of research. This approach to passive investing seeks to provide the optimal solution to maximising the long-term growth of a portfolio subject to investor preferences and constraints.
“In our Research Centre, we aim to develop the most reliable and efficient investment solutions to achieve a variety of investment objectives given a set of investor views and the probabilistic distributions of asset returns,” said Yip.
“GrOWE builds on our earlier work on Preference-based Portfolio Choice - a suite of modern tools for constructing probabilistic efficient frontiers and incorporating estimation risks.”
