UK - The £1.25bn Avon Pension Fund - administered by Bath & North East Somerset Council - has gone out to tender for a global custodian.
The new contract is intended to come into place from April 2004. The scheme’s current custodian is HSBC Global Investor Services.
Currently, the Avon Pension Fund has around 34,000 active, 10,500 deferred and 16,500 pensioner members.
It is advised by Mercer Human Resource Consulting.
