EUROPE - SEI Investment has appointed Marco Zanuso as director of business development, Southern Europe.
Zanuso, who will be based in London, will assist Karl Dasher, managing director, continental Europe, in the development of activities in the Italian, Spanish and Portuguese markets.
He will be responsible for establishing partnerships with select private banks, wealth managers and IFA networks in the regions.
Prior to joining SEI, Zanuso was head of business development, Southern Europe at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, with responsibility for driving the growth of the Partnership in Italy. Prior to joining SWIP he was director, Italia, institutional clients international, for ING Investment Management in Italy.
Commenting on the appointment, Dasher said: “Marco’s appointment reflects our commitment to further developing SEI’s business in Continental Europe.
“[His] extensive experience of the Italian market will prove invaluable in helping us to achieve our goal of developing customised investment programs and marketing solutions for our clients and partners in Continental Europe.”
