EMERGING MARKETS - Ashmore Investment Management's flagship fund, the Emerging Markets Liquid Investment Portfolio, has posted a 21.2% return for the year to July 31.
The fund’s benchmark – the JP Morgan EMBI global diversified composite index – returned 11.2% over the same period.
The Ashmore fund has returned 20.2% since its launch in October 1992, compared to the index, which has returned 13.6%.
