SWITZERLAND - The Ethos Foundation and Pictet Asset Management have embarked on a joint partnership to manage socially responsible investment (SRI) for institutional clients, and will manage more than US$1.1bn in this asset class.
The Ethos Foundation has launched the Ethos Institutional Investment Fund, an umbrella fund administered by Pictet Funds SA, which will pool the different portfolios currently managed by Ethos.
Ethos and Pictet have developed an investment process they will apply to different segments of the new fund , and to the Swiss investment fund, Pictet-Ethos Sustainable Swiss Equities.
The investment process includes non-financial assessment of the companies, analysis of the environmental and social impact of their activities, and in-depth financial analysis.
