UK - Northern Trust has appointed Ray Bloom as senior vice president, head of UK corporate pension funds within its asset servicing business in London.
Bloom joins from The Bank of New York, where he was a senior relationship manager for UK pension fund clients.
He will report directly to Nigel Bloomer, senior vice president, head of client services.
Commenting on the appointment, Bloomer said: “[Bloom] has over 20 years industry experience, of which approximately 10 years has been directly responsible for servicing UK pension funds. His experience and proven track record will be highly valued by our clients.”
