The £27m UK's Pubmaster pension fund has appointed Entegria to replace William M Mercer as its actuarial consultant.
According to Pubmaster’s assistant company secretary, Martin Collinson, the fund conducted a review of the market for the most efficient consultant. Based on the tendering submissions, the fund decided to appoint Entegria.
Collinson added that the fund’s decision to appoint Entegria had nothing to do with Mercer’s performance and that Mercer was among the four candidates selected for a final beauty parade. He declined to name the other two candidates.
