GLOBAL - The Goldman Sachs Group reported net earnings of US$522m for its fiscal third quarter ended 30 August 2002.
Earnings per diluted share were US$1.00 compared to US$0.87 for the third quarter of 2001 and US$1.06 for the 2002 second quarter.
