UK- Barclays Global Investors has hired David Gagnon as a director of transition strategy, where he will head the team which handles client portfolio restructurings.
Gagnon previously worked at Lehman Brothers as a director in the transition management group, and was transferred to Nomura International as a vice-president following the takeover last year.
French said: "David brings a wealth of experience to BGI across a broad range of disciplines including strategic planning, business development, intraday exposure management and risk management.
"David will work with senior members of the team to build on its excellent work and to extend BGI's client relationships."
