HSBC Asset Management has launched its expansion into continental Europe by setting up a new team in Italy.
The new team - who were all previously working for JPMorgan Fleming in Milan - is headed by Matteo Pardi, and comprises of Rossella Rugginenti, as marketing and communications manager; Roberta Citeralla as head of sales; and head of operations and new projects, Luigi Terruzzi.
The group’s focus is to develop asset management products and services for both institutional and retail clients, and they will be advised by Manfredi Catella, a member of the HSBC Asset Management European business committee.
The team report to Pardi, and head of European business development, Isabelle Motte, who is based in Paris.
