UK - Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has appointed Colin Burt as investment director for high yield in its global bond and economics team.
Burt joins from Abbey National Treasury Services (the wholesale banking subsidiary of Abbey National) where he has worked as a portfolio manager since 1999.
His remit will be to manage the high yield part of all SWIP bond funds. His appointment takes SWIP’s global bonds and economics team from 19 to 20 fund managers.
