FRANCE - CDC IXIS Asset Management has appointed Laurent Imbert as head of European and emerging equity.
Based in Paris, Imbert will head a 40-strong team which manages some E25bn of assets. He is also a member of the executive board.
Imbert began his career in 1988 at French insurer, Groupama. In 1994 he headed the balanced management team at Credit Mutual Finance, and in 1995 moved to the Banque d’Orsay, part of the WestLB group.
In 1996, Imbert joined the Ofivalmo Group as head of equities management, and a member of the board of directors.
