UK - MLIM's acting head of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Pacific Brian Murdock is to stand down following management changes at the firm.
Murdock, who is currently global chief investment officer of fixed income and alternative investments, has been appointed as chief operating officer of MLIM Americas following Mary Taylor’s retirement.
As a result of Murdock’s appointment, Rob Fairbairn will take on the additional role of Pacific COO, and will join the firm’s executive committee.
Head of EMEA pacific region Peter Gibbs will take on the additional roles of Pacific CIO and global CIO for fixed income, while MLIM Americas CIO Brain Fullerton will become global CIO for alternative investments.
