UK - HSBC Asset Management has taken another blow following the defection of two senior figures to Neptune Investment Management.
Keith Rumbelow and Patrick Berton have been hired as regional sales directors. Both will now report to Robin Geffen, managing director and chief investment officer at Neptune.
Both join from HSBC Asset Management, where they worked together as the sales team covering the London region for the last six years and building sales by 20% per year over that period. Neptune has also appointed Georgina Pardoe as sales support manager to provide administrative and back office support to the sales team.
HSBC recently lost five of its UK and European fund managers to Cazenove Fund Management.
