UK - Frank Russell has hired Jeffrey Geller to fill a newly-created senior level role to focus on alternative investments.
Previously Geller served as president for Commonfund Asset Management, where he had responsibility for all marketable investment products.
Prior to this he was a senior partner for BEA Associates – part of Credit Suisse Asset Management – where he managed portfolios and developed equity hedging, relative value arbitrage and currency overlay.
Frank Russell chief investment officer Randall Lert said: “Jeffrey brings extensive experience managing hedge fund strategies, especially in the relative value arbitrage area.
