UK - Sanlam Financial Services,the financial advisory and investment management group, has acquired Hichens, Harrison & Co, one of the oldest independent stockbrokers operating in the City of London.
The firm, established in 1803, provides a range of traditional stockbroking services and is a member of the London Stock Exchange.
To coincide with the purchase of Hichens, Harrison & Co plc, Sanlam Financial Services is launching a new division, based in London’s West End, called Hichens Investment Management. The division will provide discretionary investment management services for private clients, charities and smaller pension funds.
