UK - Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has appointed Nick Thompson as investment manager to its US equity desk, effective December, 2, 2002.
He joins SWIP from Aerion Fund Management where he was portfolio manager, US equities.
Thompson will report to Graham Wood, head of global sectors and international research.
His initial responsibilities will be in research, working with the teamto produce in-depth stock research to support both US retail andinstitutional funds.
Wood commented: Nick will be a valuable addition to our now 5 strong US equity desk.
