Standard & Poor's senior research director, Giles Gilbertson has defected from the company's fund research division to join Investment Manager Selection (IMS).
Gilbertson will join the multi-management company at the beginning of July as research director, to work alongside Paul Kim. He is returning to London from New York, where he has been on secondment for the past two years.
“Supporting Richard, IMS now has Peter O’Connor, CIO, Paul Kim, research director, as well as Janet Chisholm and Terry Mahony, investment consultants”, said managing director Nigel Slade.
“We are not out to build a big company. We prefer to keep to a few select clients and plan to build from the current seven clients to around 15. It is important to the principals of IMS to be closely involved with our clients.”
