GERMANY - Hans-Martin Guhr, former managing director of Universal-Investment, Frankfurt, has died aged 65.
Guhr who retired at the end of September 2002 was also involved in a vast range of activities in the Bundesverband Investment und Asset Management (BVI ) and the Deutsche Vereinigung für Finanzanalyse und Asset Management (DVFA), where he was on the board for 27 years.
He was widely thought of as the ‘grand seigneur’ of the German asset management industry.
