UK - Robert Jenkins, non-executive chairman of F&C Asset Management, will become the next chairman of the Investment Management Association (IMA), subject to ratification by members.
He will hold the role for two years from May 2007.
Jenkins served as chief executive of F&C Management for seven years prior to its merger with ISIS Asset Management in October 2004. Prior that, he spent 16 years with Citibank and five years at Credit Suisse.
He will take over from current IMA chairman, Simon Davies, who is chief executive of Threadneedle Investments.
