UK - Hymans Robertson has appointed Karen McWilliam as a consultant.
McWilliam was previously a pensions manager for the Highlands Council, where she administered the local government, police and firefighters pension schemes.
She is a former secretary to the Scottish Pensions Liaison Group and participated at the pensions technical and officers’ advisory groups of the employers organisation for local government.
She is also a fellow of the Institute of Payroll and Pensions Man-agement and has spent many years tutoring local government pension scheme administrators.
Hymans Robertson senior partner Ronnie Bowie said: “Karen is known by many local government pension scheme administrators and her extensive knowledge will complement the current services provided by Hymans Robertson.”
