UK - Bradley George has joined Investec Asset Management as an investment analyst after seven years with Goldman Sachs International.
George (pictured) will be responsible for the further development of Investec’s resources and commodities investment fund capabilities globally.
He had previously been with Goldman Sachs, where he was involved in the commodities sector. He also spent time as a member of the corporate commodity hedging team at GS and was part of the commodities marketing team which helped to build Goldman Sachs’ Commodity Index Fund (GSCI).
George will be based in London and report to Domenico Ferrini, investments director. In earlier news, Citigroup Asset Management lost two individuals responsible for building its institutional sales capability, after Frank Doyle and Patrick McDonnell joined Investec as head of UK and Ireland institutional sales and business development consultant, respectively.
