US/UK - Jeff Jacobson will replace Lynn Thurber as CEO of LaSalle Investment Management, effective from 31 December 2006.
Thurber, 59, will take on the role of chairman on January 1 next year, after 12 years at the helm. She took on the role of CEO at LaSalle when Alex Brown, Kleinwort Benson (ABKB) Realty Advisors merged with LaSalle Partners to form Jones Lang LaSalle.
Jacobson, who is based in London, has been at LaSalle for 16 years and has been the firm's European regional CEO since June 2000.
The Pensions Regulator (TPR) has granted 11 master trusts extensions to apply for authorisation, as it confirms it has received 22 applications ahead of the 31 March deadline.
