US - Pension and benefits consulting firm Punter Southall has expanded its US investment operations with the acquisition of Massachussets-based investment firm Higgins Associates for an undisclosed amount.
The move aims to leverage Punter’s investment advisory position in the North American market, according to firm.
Commenting on the buy, Mike Senoski, a Punter Southall principal, said: “As actuaries, we understand the unique requirements and risks involved in developing pension and retirement plans for organisations and individuals in North America.
“The acquisition of Higgins Associates extends our reach beyond benefits planning to deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end solution of investment and asset allocation services.”
