GLOBAL -Sogeposte, the asset management subsidiary of La Banque Postale, has announced it is to join the Enhanced Analytics Initiative (EAI) as a full member. The EAI , which includes members such as the Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP and the London Pension Fund Authority, is an international collaboration between asset owners and managers aimed at encouraging investment research that considers the impact of "extra-financial issues" on long term company performance.
Sogeposte has agreed to commit a minimum of 5% of its annual broker commissions to this research.
Commenting on the news, Sogeposte’s chief investment officer, Bernard Descreux, said: “We encourage the research community to more consistently consider the impact of extra-financial issues. We are certain they contribute to long-term corporate prosperity.”
EAI’s assets under management currently exceeds e681bn.
