UK - Financial data specialists GL Trade has appointed Patrick Tessier as chief executive.
Giles Newman has also been appointed as sales director of its London and Northern European business, GL Trade Line.
Tessier – previously director of European listed derivatives at Credit Suisse First Boston – will be in charge of developing the positioning of GL Trade solutions in its market and managing its 130 staff.
Newman will be responsible for expanding GL Trade’s market position in the region.
He was previously at Moneyline Telerate where he was vice-president and director for continental Europe, Middle East and Africa.
