AUSTRALIA - Superannuation minister Nick Sherry has urged Australians to focus on the medium to longer term rate of return from their superannuation funds, in a response to looming negative results for 2008.
He said the value of an Australian dollar in superannuation six years ago would be currently A$1.60, while one year ago it was A$1.70. He said that was still a good rate of return.
